Gouache Is Harder Than It Looks 😭 First Time Painting ( pls tell me what I'm doing wrong)

Gouache painting is harder than it looks, so I tested it for the first time to see if beginners should give it a try. 🎨 I started this project with a simple sketch of houses and trees before adding blue and green washes to build my landscape. This gouache painting process was full of surprises as I navigated the transition from the sky and hills to painting a yellow house with a red roof and vibrant poppies. It was a learning experience to balance the opacity of the medium while working on my first landscape painting. If you have been curious about how to use gouache for beginners, this video covers my honest first impressions and the mistakes I made along the way. I hope my journey helps you feel more confident starting your own creative projects with this unique medium.
