Hi, I haven't uploaded here for a while and that's because I've been busy with this!
SMGKart Wii is a modpack for Mario Kart Wii that aims to replicate the atmosphere of the Super Mario Galaxy games ^^, watch the beginning of the video for some more information.

As said in the video, this is NOT the final release in the slightest but a BETA. So if you download this, please keep in mind that this is a W.I.P. and you might encounter some issues (known issues are listed down below). It's more of a "pick up what you want in this pack and use it" kind of thing, some tracks have forced crowd noises though which I have silenced in the .brsar, so keep that in mind if you plan on using another revo_kart.
Some colours are also blue because of StaticR.rel edits (this rel editor was made by Atlas), the StaticR.rel in the pack is from the PAL region so do NOT try to use it with other regions.
UI files are from the PAL version so if you want these to work with the NTSC-U region for example, change every file with _E to _U. In the final release I'll do this myself and seperate each region from each other.
What's added in this pack?:
-UI changes (MenuSingle.szs, Globe.szs, Race.szs, etc.) (not everything is finished!)
-Common.szs edits (rainbow drift effect was done by Dxrk) such as the co-star luma being over lakitu!
-SFX changes (stuff like UI sfx, item equip sound, etc.)
-16 courses fully edited by me, 16 are made by others which either have minor or major edits made by me (you can find the credits in the pinned comment) or you can find them in the staff roll at the end of the video which is recorded in-game, see timestamps)
-Mario has his voice clips changed to be the ones from the galaxy games/3d land (some misc. ones haven't been replaced yet, i'll do that in the future).
-Bobby UI icons and text have been added ( • Mario Kart Wii Custom Character: Bobby (Pa... ), this will be removed in the final release as this was actually a leftover from testing
-Custom THP's for the credits and the course previews in MenuSingle.szs
Issues so far (will fix in the future):
-N64 DK's Jungle Parkway crashes on real hardware, most likely due to the insane amount of objects I've added to the kmp
-Almost every UI sound effect has a weird little corruption sound that plays a few seconds after it plays in-game and lasts like 0.1 seconds, this is barely hearable without earbuds BUT pretty hearable if you do have them in (in my opinion).
-Coconut Mall won't play the course intro music at all, no idea why this happens but it definitely has something to do with the .brsar (i edited the music into the video for that course)
-Multiplayer support has not been implemented yet and this mode will either crash the game or just load the vanilla courses (from the _d versions), im expecting the latter but i haven't tested it out yet
-Battle mode has not been implemented yet, this works perfectly fine but for now it's completely vanilla
