Wadi al shab is one of the top highlights of oman. The narrow canyon is home to Crystal Clear blue water pools and also a secret Waterfall inside a cave Wadi ash shab located in tiwi which is part of sur. Wadi Shab is about 1.5 hours from Muscat Parking is completely free at Wadi Shab! There are free bathrooms at the Wadi Shab parking lot. you must take a very short boat ride across the very wide river. The boat ride costs 1 omr two way per person and this must be paid in cash!  The boat ride takes less than 3 minutes to get you across the river but it is a fun experience to start off your trip. The hike to Wadi Shab begins innocently enough. 45-60 min hike ( one way if you are fit adults) starts.  You will walk past small local farms and over winding irrigation channels. The difficulty level of the Wadi Shab hike is easy to moderate depending on your fitness level.  Boat Operation begins at 8am and runs until 5pm. Make sure to ask when the last boat of the day is in case you are late to arrive back. Amazing beach too explore filled with pebbles and turquoise blue water. Swimming might not be recommended. Good place for family picnic but not in summer. Al mutrah souq Mutrah Souq https://maps.app.goo.gl/SXTk5HRjZjEgT... Mutrah Souq is one of the oldest markets in the Arab world. Al Alam Palace https://maps.app.goo.gl/1SWdPwW2QF8LH... The Al Alam Palace  is a palace located in Old Muscat, Oman. It was used as a ceremonial palace by Sultan  Qaboos bin Said Al Said. Al Mutrah corniche https://maps.app.goo.gl/KeDB1qN5fSKzf... Stretching for 3 km along the waterfront, the Mutrah Corniche is an elegant promenade lined with international restaurants, traditional cafes and enticing markets. Nakhal Spring Ain Al Thawarah https://maps.app.goo.gl/nGkEw7HEwTsEG... Thowarah hot spring It is a green area where a spring forms a stream in a wadi (valley). Nakhal Fort, Oman https://maps.app.goo.gl/QPsJPc9nnf1wj... Nakhal fort is closed for renovations currently Al Kasfah Hot Spring https://maps.app.goo.gl/t55dKAuaxzwx3... Ayn Al Kasfah is a natural hot spring with waters reaching temperatures of around 45 degrees Celsius.  the Kasfah hot springs have traces of sulphur in the water that has been clinically proven to have healing properties especially for those with joint issues and other arterial issues. Some of the pools are segregated for men and women to use separately. With naked eyes when you see the water, it would seems as if normal cold water from the near by wadi or underground source but as soon as you touch it, you realise how warm it is .
