Interstellar takes you into space, time, love, loss and the unknown. Inception goes in the opposite direction — into dreams, memory, reality and the idea of getting lost inside your own mind. And at the center of both films is Hans Zimmer's music. For this remix, I wanted to bring those two worlds together and see how the sounds of Interstellar and Inception would work as one piece. I kept the atmosphere of the original scores while rearranging and combining the instrumental elements to create something that feels like it could exist somewhere between a dream and deep space. There's something really interesting about putting the emotional scale of Interstellar next to the darker, more hypnotic feeling of Inception. One is looking outward into the universe, while the other looks inward into the mind. This remix is my take on that connection.
