Meet Salamatu Jalloh, a dedicated community teacher at Masosingbi Primary School.

In this inspiring video, Salamatu shares what a typical day looks like as a teacher in a last-mile community—from balancing family duties, farming, and writing lesson plans without electricity or network access, to encouraging students to come to class and learn. Despite working without a government salary, Salamatu's passion for education remains strong. Thanks to support from Schools for Salone, she has been able to further her education and earn her teaching certificate. "One proud moment is that each time I see a pupil that I taught in this school, when they go to JSS (Junior Secondary School), they are doing so great."
