“Without the Road, Nothing Is Moving” | Minister Richard Moyo on Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Road

Matabeleland North Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Richard Moyo says the Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Road is the Government’s biggest infrastructure priority in the province. Moyo says motorists are spending up to 12 hours on a journey that should take three to four hours, while contractors who had slowed down are expected to return to site. Government says 57.2km of the 440.4km highway has been opened to traffic, with work expected to resume within the next three weeks. The Government has set December 2026 as the target for completion.
