East Duo - Chumi

"Chumi" (meaning "silent" in Georgian) is drawn from the weight of war and the silence that outlasts it. Seeing the heavy conflicts in the world today, we felt an overwhelming need to create this instrumental. We wanted to capture the raw tension of trying to find words when there are none left, as our way of honoring and dedicating this piece to those who have lost their lives in war as well as for those who have lost their loved ones.
