You Have Named Me Yours

HAVE NAMED ME YOURS Verse 1 Before I drew a breath of life, You formed me by Your hand. You made me in Your image, Lord, To live at Your command. My worth was never mine to earn, Nor mine to redefine; I bear the mark of my Creator— Your purpose over mine. Verse 2 But sin has scarred what You designed And led my heart astray. I traded truth for empty lies And wandered from Your way. Yet Christ, the perfect image, came, The Father’s glory shown; He bore my guilt upon the cross To bring this rebel home. Chorus You have named me Yours, You have called me by Your grace. I am held in Christ, In His righteousness I stand. Not my works, my strength, or name— Jesus is my only praise. Made in Your image, Redeemed by Your Son, You have named me Yours. Verse 3 Now I have died and risen with Christ; My former life is gone. My hope is hidden safe in Him, My strength is Christ alone. Your Spirit shapes my heart anew To make me like Your Son, Until the image sin has scarred Reflects the Holy One. Chorus You have named me Yours, You have called me by Your grace. I am held in Christ, In His righteousness I stand. Not my works, my strength, or name— Jesus is my only praise. Made in Your image, Redeemed by Your Son, You have named me Yours. Bridge I am not what fear has spoken. I am not the wrong I’ve done. I am not what I accomplish— I am hidden in the Son. I belong to Christ who bought me. I am loved because of grace. And the One who has begun His work Will finish what He made. Final Chorus You have named me Yours, You have called me by Your grace. I am held in Christ, In His righteousness I stand. Not my works, my strength, or name— Jesus is my only praise. Made in Your image, Redeemed by Your Son, I will live to show Your glory Till I see You face to face. You have named me Yours.
