1969 Land Rover Series 2A, attends the Annual Wigton Car Club Show at Dalemain House. 2026.

Join us as we travel from the Scottish Border to Dalemain House in the Lake District in our 1969 Land Rover Series 2A. We are displaying on the Land Rover Series 2 Club Stand, at the 2026 Wigton Car Club Show. Come along as we travel to the August show and have a look at some of the cars that caught my eye. Our Series, "Gwynnie", is a 1969 late Series 2A, 88, (short wheel base). She is a headlights in the wing model. Powered by a Standard 2.25 Rover Petrol Engine, linked to 4 speed Land Rover Transmission with Overdrive. As it would have left Solihull. (except for the overdrive) Many thanks to The Vasey Family for organising the Club Stand. And also to the Wigton Car Club for putting on this superb Lake District Show. #landrover #leafspring
