IT’S FINALLY DONE! First Ride on Excel-Modernized Elevator #4 at Palisades Center Mall!

Filmed 9/1/2026. Did a 2-Mile walk here post-work, traversing a full lap on all 4 floors. I believe I am the first one to briefly film oneself riding the newly modded Elevator #4 in Palisades Center Mall, which finally re-opened after Excel spent roughly a year of modernizing it. 5, 6, and 7 have been active post-mod since fall of last year, and I knew it was about time Elevator 4 be finished. Now, there you have it, the Center Bank of Elevators in 4-5-6-7, is fully modernized! Over the past weeks after work, I sometimes would pit stop at Palisades Center not merely to pick up quick groceries from Target on Level 4 but to also check on the status of the Center Court Elevators. As of this week, yes, folks, it’s finally done! And now Excel will shift to the West (2 and 3) and East Banks (10 and 11) which have been experiencing severe mechanical problems with their old Montgomery Kone systems while Elevators 4-5-6-7 underwent full modernization.
