Your Brain Was Built to Forget Your Childhood

Try to remember your second birthday. You can't. And it's not because nothing happened — it's because your brain never finished building the system meant to hold it. In this video, you'll discover why infantile amnesia happens to literally every human on Earth, what's really going on inside your hippocampus during your first three years, and why your earliest memories didn't disappear so much as they never got filed away in the first place. You'll learn how new brain cells were quietly overwriting your own memories before you could even talk, and why the years you can't recall are still shaping you right now. If this rewired how you think about your own mind, hit like, drop a comment with the earliest memory you DO have, and subscribe for more deep dives into the science of being human. #infantileamnesia #childhoodmemory #brainscience #psychology #neuroscience #humandevelopment #memoryscience #hippocampus #earlychildhood #evolutionarypsychology #howmemoryworks #cognitivescience #brainfacts #humanbrain #scienceexplained #mindblowing #didyouknow #humanhistory #anthropology #educationalyoutube #doodlevideo #whyquestions #brainfunfacts #psychologyfacts #memoryloss
