What was once considered a meme Tank playstyle has evolved into one of the most defensive, self-sustaining and surprisingly powerful Tank builds in The Elder Scrolls Online. Thanks to the Werewolf Refresh and new Class Mastery system, Werewolf Tanks now have access to incredible survivability, strong group utility, excellent sustain and a simple one-bar playstyle that's easy to learn while still being effective in challenging content. I've personally used this build for: 🛡 Veteran Dungeons & Hard Modes 🛡 Veteran Trials 🛡 Infinite Archive 🛡 Even some Battlegrounds and PvP fun This build is ideal for: 🛡 Players looking for an easy-to-play Tank 🛡 Tanks wanting a unique playstyle 🛡 Players who enjoy self-sustaining builds 🛡 Anyone who wants to become incredibly difficult to kill Now to be clear, this is not designed to replace traditional endgame Trial Tank setups. The biggest limitation of Werewolf Tanking is the lack of a ranged taunt, which can make certain Trial encounters and highly optimised raid groups less practical. However, from a player perspective, the combination of survivability, crowd control, sustain, group support and simplicity makes this one of the most enjoyable Tank builds currently available in ESO.
