Non-Stop Coho Chaos Salmon Fishing at Possession Point! Marine Area 9 September 6, 2026 Limited Out!

This was the most insane Coho session at Possession Point! Pure madness I tell you. Those Coho's chased this plug like it was the last available bite in the Salish sea folks. One right after the other for an hour and a half. The irresistible meal? The Tomic Tubby 5" Purple Haze 530G. It's a fishing year that will go down as the best salmon fishing season here in the Pacific Northwest. Marine Area 9 delivered a great fishing day on Sunday September 6, 2026. Once I pull the pins on the plug I use a small flexible tube epoxied through the body and extend it on the face of the plug to clear the top of the plug when it dives to keep it from wearing the leader line. I tie my leader to the leading hook eye. I also add a 4mm glow bead above the leading hook to protect the knot.
