A professional drummer, music director, audio engineer, and content creator, Jaybee is passionate about crafting musical experiences that resonate both on stage and behind the scenes. Whether performing before thousands, directing a live band, building a broadcast mix, or sharing insights through digital content, he approaches every opportunity with excellence, creativity, and a deep respect for the music. Jaybee’s musical journey began at the age of three after being inspired by his older brother, whose drumming captivated him from an early age. What started with tree branches serving as drumsticks and furniture becoming practice surfaces soon evolved into a lifelong pursuit. His first opportunity came unexpectedly during a church service when his brother was unavailable. Despite being too small to comfortably reach the drums, Jaybee stepped behind the kit and played an unforgettable moment that marked the beginning of a remarkable musical journey. Today, Jaybee serves as a touring, session, studio, and church drummer, earning a reputation for his musicality, dynamic expression, deep pocket, and versatility. His ability to serve the music with maturity and intention has made him a trusted musician on some of the biggest gospel stages. He has performed alongside acclaimed gospel artists and ministers, including Preye Odede, Noble G, Freke Umoh, Kaydee Numbere, Limoblaze, and Onos Ariyo. He has also had the privilege of performing at The Experience Lagos, one of the world’s largest gospel music gatherings. Beyond performing, Jaybee is an accomplished music director, currently serving as the Music Director for Noble G. In this role, he oversees the musical direction of live performances, shaping arrangements, leading musicians, and ensuring every performance reflects the highest artistic and professional standards. His musical leadership has also extended into the contemporary music scene, where he has directed live performances for artists including Ose, Kunmie, Tay Iwar, Lovn, Cheque, and Ameaya. Complementing his work on stage, Jaybee has built a parallel career in professional audio engineering, specializing in live sound, broadcast mixing, and music production. His unique perspective as both a musician and an engineer enables him to bridge the gap between performance and production, ensuring that every musical moment is translated with clarity, emotion, and excellence. This rare combination has become a defining characteristic of his work, allowing him to contribute meaningfully from both the stage and the mixing console. As a content creator, Jaybee shares his passion for drumming, music direction, and audio engineering through engaging digital content that educates, entertains, and inspires. His mission is to impact the next generation of musicians and creatives by expanding their vision of what is possible, encouraging them to pursue excellence, embrace growth, and maximize their potential. For Jaybee, music is more than a profession, it is a calling to serve, inspire, lead, and create experiences that leave a lasting impact long after the final note has been played. #Drumcovers #Drumquarters #drumlessons #drummer #drums #jazzfusion #drumvideo
