Koala mating time - scary!

A male koala grunting. A distressed female koala. Just before sunrise on Magnetic Island. At one stage when the male is grunting he looks like a monstrous hairy frog. Or at least he reminds one of a gargoyle from a gothic building. For a much gentler viewing experience watch Netflix 'Izzy's Koala World' for a really fabulous kids program about koalas on Magnetic Island.
