Spotlight Session: Standardising track & trace

Lacking transparency remains a major barrier to efficient, sustainable, and resilient supply chains. Despite physical transport processes being largely the same across companies, the digital transformation of them often relies on fragmented systems and proprietary terminology. In this Spotlight Session, representatives from the Open Logistics Foundation’s Working Group Track & Trace showcase how industry-wide collaboration for open standards along the logistics chain can address these challenges. The session begins with a practical implementation story from ZeKju, one of the first companies to deploy the Tracking Event Model in a real-world pilot together with Rhenus Logistics. Building on these experiences, the session then turns to the group’s newest initiative: Timeslot Management.
