First ever visit of Royal Scot steam loco to Whitby 46115 Scots Guardsman along the Esk Valley Line

Filmed on Friday 9th October 2026 The Esk Valley Explorer Rail tour - Commences at Carnforth and travels to York. Leaving the ECML at Northallerton, the tour takes the Eaglescliffe line and crosses Yarm Viaduct high above the River Tees before continuing through Middlesbrough to join the Esk Valley Line. At Battersby, steam resumes for the trip down to Whitby passing through Kildale, Commondale, Danby and Glaisdale.
