Elf - "C# Celtic Minor" #2

Instrument built in April 2017 with high quality ==Shellopan== shells. This video was recorded 3 weeks after gluing (please apologize the wrong framing). Custom scale: C#/ (E) (F#) G# B C# D# E F# G# B (C#) (D#) Description: This is the 5th Celtic minor scale I built. It is very sensitive and responsive, has good dynamic ; the sound is clear and powerful, the sustain is long, it has bright harmonics. The central note is strong and activates both octave and fifth with double octave activation (C#5) pending of how it is played. Both harmonics can be bended quite a lot. Bottom notes are clear and strong. The helmotz is in E2 and can be lowered in a wide range within figures C#2. It has 3 shoulder tones that are not perfectly controlled though I believe they can be played harmoniously within the scale. Bottom port is tuned with E5 / G#5 / B5. This custom scale opens strong major chords with E3 and F#3 on bottom, offering good potential of harmonies and melodies.
