You Are Still Here Because God Sustained You - Psalm 3 |Daily Reflection and Prayer

Have you ever wondered why you woke up this morning — not the biology of it, but the why? Today's devotional opens Psalm 3, written by David while he was literally running for his life from his own son. We sit with his words, "I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me," and let them reframe every sunrise as evidence of God's watchful care. #jesus #god #love #faith #hope Then we go deep into the story of Peter's miraculous deliverance from prison in Acts 12 — a man sleeping soundly between two armed guards the night before his planned execution, until an angel wakes him, chains fall from his wrists, and an iron gate opens "of its own accord." If fear has been climbing into bed with you at night, or you've been carrying trouble that feels like it's increasing against you, this is your reminder: God is a shield, the lifter of your head, and He is faithful and able to sustain you through anything. 📖 Scripture: Psalm 3:1–6, 8 (KJV) ✝️ Bible Story: Peter's Deliverance From Prison (Acts 12:1–17) New devotional every morning.
