In dead water, hear, a song resounds, A moan of winds, an echo of ancient forests. Softly tread the overgrown path, Into the darkness of a river, into the void of a polynya. Deep anguish, dark anguish - can't reach the bottom; The twilight will die turned to black ash, in fog and ice. In bitter silence cover my mound with ashes and hoar, Weep for me, in pitch black night call with a song.
