September has arrived in Southern Anhui, China. 🌿 The mornings and evenings are becoming cooler, and little signs of autumn are beginning to appear across the countryside. Today, I went to the field to see if the soybeans were ready. The pods have grown full, so I picked some fresh soybeans and brought them home to make a simple home-cooked dish. Nearby, the small vegetables planted not long ago have just started to sprout. One crop is ready to be harvested, while another is just beginning to grow.
