Lyrics: (Verse 1) Yeah you're staring at the green light again Wondering if you should hit send or just wait it out Three dots are blinking then they fade away You leave me reading what you didn't say I check my lock screen just to see it blank Feels like a habit and it makes me ache Are we just ghosts in this machines embrace Looking for warmth in this blue light space (Chorus) Wait for me to say it first Wait for the bubble to burst Tell me are we something real or just a ghost online Just a ghost online Wait for the right time to call Wait for the silence to fall Tell me are we something real or just a ghost online Just a ghost online (Verse 2) You post a picture and I look too long Wondering if it's some kind of secret song Meant for my eyes or just for anyone Overthinking everything until I'm numb It's so much easier to stay composed Behind the screen where the door is half closed (Chorus) Wait for me to say it first Wait for the bubble to burst Tell me are we something real or just a ghost online Just a ghost online Wait for the right time to call Wait for the silence to fall Tell me are we something real or just a ghost online Just a ghost online (Bridge) Maybe we're both just too afraid to fall Standing on the edge and staring at the wall But I'm so tired of this digital masquerade Watching all the colors that we used to have just fade (Chorus) Wait for me to say it first Wait for the bubble to burst Tell me are we something real or just a ghost online Just a ghost online Wait for the right time to call Wait for the silence to fall Tell me are we something real or just a ghost online Just a ghost online (Outro) Yeah just a ghost online Are you still there or am I just dreaming this up again Hit me back sometime when you're not so busy being cool (Yeah I'm just waiting here) #AlmostUs #GhostOnline #BedroomPop #IndiePop #Situationship
