How to Build a Survival Shelter in the Wild | Fallen Tree Root Camp

Heading into the woods with no tent, just basic gear and an hour of daylight to build a natural survival shelter under an uprooted tree. In this video, I build a lean-to shelter directly against a fallen root ball using hazel poles, soft ostrich ferns for bedding and insulation, and a hinged paracord latch door to keep the cold out. Once the shelter is secured against incoming rain, I get a campfire going to cook steak and settle in for the night. Thanks for watching!
