Behringer Just Made a $150 Open-Source MPC Clone

$150. Behringer's KICK is an open-source MPC clone, and the $800 MPC One Gen 2 on my desk just got real uncomfortable. I went through the actual project — what's running under the hood, how it handles VST plugins, how you can install your own OS on it, and what the source code tells us about how finished this thing really is. Real hardware, real repo, no hype. The price math is the part that matters most, so stay to the end for that.
