Techritory 2026 in Riga, once again offered an important moment to connect with the wider community, exchange perspectives and keep building Europe’s next chapter in connectivity together. A week after, one feeling still lingers: Europe is no longer at a moment of reflection alone — it is at a moment of decision. Because in today’s fast-moving world, transformation does not wait, and neither can Europe. That was one of the strongest messages from this year’s gathering. As SNS JU Executive Director Erzsébet Fitori reminded us, Europe cannot afford to stand on the side-lines of change. It must help shape it. This is already happening. With more than 120 funded projects and €1.8 billion mobilised for 2021–2027, the SNS JU is laying the groundwork for Europe’s 6G future while helping unlock the potential of an AI-driven economy at scale.
