Welcome to the second video of my “Lars plays Lars” series! I’ve covered “Enter Sandman”, one of Metallica’s most iconic songs. The drum part of this legendary track is both compositional and technically brilliant in the original and definitely deserves a closer look. For my cover, I tried to stay as close to the original drum part as possible, while adding a little bit of my own touch. The only major exception is the outro, where I improvise a little.
