Never Stop Creating: From Music to Film and Beyond with Henri Yonet

What does it take to build a creative career that moves from music production and composition to film, television, and storytelling? In this episode of Expressions of Leadership, Michele Kawamoto Perry talks with Henri Yonet about creativity, career reinvention, mentorship, and what it means to never stop creating. Henri shares stories from his remarkable career in the entertainment industry, from producing music and learning sound engineering at Paramount Recording Studio to running his own recording studio, composing for television, and moving into film and documentary filmmaking. He also reflects on the leadership lessons he has learned along the way, including the importance of curiosity, humility, relationships, staying present, and knowing when to let go of perfectionism. Today, Henri is focused on writing for film and television and telling stories of his own. His journey is a reminder that there is no single path to a creative career—and that sometimes the best way forward is to stay curious and never stop creating.
