2026年8月14日、京都市東山区の大谷祖廟（東大谷）で万灯会が始まりました。約10000灯の提灯が夜景の京都市内をバックに浮かび上がり、幻想的な風景を描いています。万灯会は8月16日まで。 On August 14, 2026, the Manto-e (Festival of Ten Thousand Lanterns) began at Otani Sobyo (Higashi Otani) in Kyoto's Higashiyama Ward. Approximately 10,000 lanterns glow against the backdrop of the Kyoto cityscape, creating a magical, dreamlike scene. The festival runs until August 16.
