From wheelchair to walking

Acts 3:6-9, “6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9And all the people saw him walking and praising God:” Mark 5:29, “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” God healed Barbara of MS. Diagnosed with MS as a teenager. Well-documented case of MS from the Mayo clinic. Her hands were curled—her fingers touched her wrists. She could not stand on her feet. She had not walked in seven years. One lung was collapsed and the other was at 50% capacity. She had a tube in her throat to breathe. She was clinically blind—she could only see gray shapes and figures. She was in hospice waiting to die. Someone called the local Christian radio station in Chicago and told the listeners to pray for Barbara. Over 450 people prayed for her and sent letters and cards to her. As someone was reading the mail to her of the outpouring of love and prayer, she heard God say to her from the corner of the room, “Get up and walk.” Barbara told this person to call her parents. She wanted them there when she got up. She pulled the tube from her throat, got up and began walking around. This was Pentecost Sunday 1981. They went to a Wesleyan church that night and the place erupted in praise as she walked down the aisle after the pastor asked if anyone had any announcements.
