What if I told you that a Companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Jannah without praying a single prayer?
His name was ‘Amr ibn Thabit ibn Waqsh, known as Al-Usayrim, may Allah be pleased with him.
He accepted Islam on the day of the Battle of Uhud, took his sword, and joined the Muslims in battle. He was severely wounded and later died from his injuries.
When his story was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Indeed, he is from the people of Paradise.”
The remarkable part is that he had not prayed a single prayer after accepting Islam because he was martyred so soon after embracing Islam.
But this story is NOT an excuse to abandon Salah. He did not deliberately leave prayer. He simply accepted Islam and was martyred before he had the opportunity to establish his prayers.
This powerful story teaches us about sincere faith, a good ending, sacrifice, and the importance of acting when the truth becomes clear.

May Allah grant us sincere faith and a beautiful ending.
