In celebration of Miami Swim Week, W Miami hosted the highly anticipated What She Said speaker series, co-presented with Modern Day Wife, the premier platform redefining modern womanhood through curated conversations, elevated experiences, and community-driven connection. On May 16, the event brought together an influential mix of celebrities, founders, creators, and executives for an evening of thought-provoking panels, brand activations, and a high-energy fashion experience. Designed to spotlight the multifaceted modern woman, the event will feature conversations across beauty, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, business, and entrepreneurship. The event opened with a special Fireside Chat featuring entrepreneur and powerhouse Elena Cardone, offering insights on business, mindset, and building a lasting legacy. The evening included five dynamic panel segments: The Beauty & Wellness Panel moderated by Michelle Fletcher, Founder of Holistic Business Network and Co-Founder of South Florida Wellness Week. Panelists include Dr. Tracey Hicks-Kearse, Founder, CEO & Chief Chemist of AcARRE; Laura Shanley, Founder of Modestine; Amanda Chinkan, Nutrition Therapist and Founder of The Great Reset; Dr. Marianna Blyumin-Karasik, Holistic Dermatologist and Founder of Stamina Cosmetics and Precision Skin & Body Institute; Lionela Colon, Founder of True L.I.O. on behalf of Cutera; Andrew Tylander, Senior Account Manager at Brooksville Pharmaceuticals; and Natalie Cabrera Feria, APRN and aesthetics expert. The Fashion & Lifestyle Panel moderated by Isabella Schmidt, Co-Owner of Jexy Agency, alongside Michael Nzeza, Founder and Creative Director of CLÈ. Featured panelists include Shane Shi, Vice President of Shapellx; Bernadette Marie, Founder of LACE; Tiffany Troy of Booksy; Anika McKelvey, Founder of LAS Loungewear; and Bara Boheme, Founder of Bara Boheme. The Business & Entrepreneurship Panel moderated by Esther Deutsch, Senior Enterprise Manager at Visa and Co-Founder of Sunset Connect. Panelists include Makuyo, Principal of SIIKA Herb + Honey Co.; Arianna Coltellacci, transformational speaker and former Telemundo actress; and Tiffany Fulcher, sales strategist and Founder of ConvertHer. A second Beauty & Wellness Panel moderated by Isabella Schmidt, featuring Denice Duff, Founder of In Your Face Skincare; Dr. Ben Eskenazi of Avabello Aesthetics; and Erica Dement, Executive Director of Marketing at Cutera. The evening culminated in a highly anticipated Celebrity Panel moderated by Modern Day Wife Co-Founder Meghan Fialkoff alongside The Knockturnal journalist Avyana Chapman. Featured talent includes cast members from Members Only: Palm Beach—Maria Cozamanis, Ro-mina Ustayev, Gale Brophy, and Taja Abitbol—as well as NYC-based content creator Kimmy Neeli. Beyond the panels, guests experienced curated brand activations, immersive pop-ups, and a multi-part fashion show presentation featuring brands including LACE and Shapellx, with production support from leading fashion and beauty partners. The event will also feature an elevated Influencer Lounge by Cutera, Laser Genesis and truFlex, interactive brand installations, and experiential moments designed to engage attendees throughout the evening. What She Said is a signature W Hotels series centered on authentic conversations that celebrate individuality, inclusivity, and the evolving roles of women today—across career, relationships, wellness, and personal growth.
