KTM took the Adventure 390, reduced the stroke by 8mm, dropped 50cc — and called it the Adventure 390 (350cc). But why only the stroke? Why not the bore? And why does the 350 vibrate less? We ran the engineering numbers so you don't have to.
We explore the mechanical "fingerprint" of the bike through detailed frequency analysis of engine sounds and a technical look at how the quickshifter manages RPM drops during gear shifts. Finally, the video explains the rare use of dual O2 sensors—pre-cat and post-cat—to optimize combustion control for superior emission management and fuel efficiency.
