Hotpoint WMA50 How to remove and check washing machine bearings: Noisy Bearings:How to replace!

This is how I dismantled my WMA50 washing machine to remove the bearings. Take your time and make notes of what goes where. There are two shaft sizes on these washing machines, a 30mm shaft and a 35mm shaft. This machine has a 35mm shaft, and I bought the wrong bearings, so I reinstalled the old bearings and wired the motor for speed for washing machine destruction. It is a big job. Check the plastic tub inside before you order bearings, some tubs can't be opened, if your tub doesn't have screws or clips all around the outside then it is a very difficult job to open it and even harder to reseal it.
