TVE 6 idents (1987 - 1989)

Canal 6 (until 2023, TVE 6) is a government-owned commercial television station from Ecrunsalia, launched on October 31, 1960 as a secondary channel of TVNE (since 1992, ETV) when it was under the hands of the government. During its first 10 years of broadcasting, when it was named as Canal 6, and under the recognized call sign of YFSC-TV for its main Port Azure television station, programming mainly differed from its sister channel and it consisted of imported movies and series, variety shows, sports, sponsored entertainment programs and coverage of government ceremonies (like Independence day) and presidential addresses. After a more improved broadcasting law was introduced to most of the country's main media (such as TVNE and RNE) to form an autonomous public corporation (while still under partial control from the state until 1992) in 1970, Canal 6 was separated and sometime later that year, the station had adopted the name of Televisión Estatal - Canal 6 (or just TVE 6 / TVE for short). Because of the government being so conservative on media during that time (especially during the 1964 - 1978 period of rule from the Republican Party, one of Ecrunsalia's traditional political parties, the other one being the Democratic Party, which it mostly ruled Ecrunsalia throughout the 20th and early 21st centuries), TVE 6 had to keep broadcasting in monochrome as a measure of nationwide expansion, budget constraints and broader state priorities, until the color NTSC system came along in 1978 at the time of the 1978 World Cup in Argentina and later, the 1978 presidential elections, with full-time color broadcasting coming out quickly on February 1979, becoming one of the last TV networks in Ecrunsalia to adopt color broadcasting (although programs were produced/recorded in color starting in early 1970 with color-capable production centers that they had acquired in the late 60s alongside TVNE, the latter one starting color broadcasting in 1967/1972). As we enter to the early 1990s, TVE 6 has been considered to the general public of being an "outdated" station because the equipment that they acquired to upgrade during the time of the 1978 World Cup (such as RCA TK-44 and other related cameras cameras, Grass Valley and other companies' video switchers/mixers and Ampex 1-inch Type C videotapes) was aging due to state funding for technical upgrades being halted as a measure of the national government prioritizing other areas of public spending, as compared to the better-financed private broadcasters and the publicly-owned TVNE, which continuously renewed their facilities throughout the 1980s. This meant that cameras required increasingly frequent maintenance, videotape systems suffered from reliability problems, and spare parts became difficult to obtain. Engineers often relied on repairs, component cannibalization, and locally improvised solutions to keep the network on the air. Fortunately, the progressive government of Ecrunsalia had to act quick and launched a "salvation project" to the channel in 1993, which meant that their entire studios should be rebuilt, control rooms be modernized, and transmission infrastructure be renewed, in line with most private networks. The station also commissioned the Ecrunsalian design agency Vita, to design the new (and recognized) "sun" logo and most of its graphic package. TVE 6 relaunched with this new equipment and branding on Monday, June 20, 1994. Since then the national government continuously upgrades the equipment of TVE 6 wherever its necessary. As part of the 15th anniversary celebrations of Kasane Teto's creation, on April 2, after a cadena nacional issued on April 1, Congress of Ecrunsalia enacted the Law 5720/23 "On Reorganization and Transfer of State Media", which meant that TVE 6 would be under control of a new company, named Teledifusión Triangulo S.A. de C.V., with its members made up of businessmen who had very close ties to the government, and some TwinDrill associates. The station also had the legality from the government to change its now-digital terrestrial television callsign from YFSC-TVD to YFKT-TVD. The official transition and rebranding was made on April 27, 2023, at the time of Kasane Teto's Synthesizer V voicebank release. The station also brought back their Canal 6 name before the separation with TVNE in 1970.
