first impressions 🎨 marie's painting colours! 💌

hello!! happy early valentinees 💕💕 a while ago, I bought a set of Marie's Chinese Painting Colours (24 colours, 12ml), and some Chinese painting brushes 🌱 They sat under my bed for a couple of years but now I'm finally testing them out! :) saying goodbye to art block by force Chinese paints can be diluted with water, but they are NOT watercolours 🎋 They're usually used to paint Guohua (Traditional Chinese painting), on rice paper or silk 🎋 I'm used to using watercolours, so I've used them the 'wrong' way in this video, but I'll try them out properly on rice paper later - maybe in another video 💌 I'm not sure if this was the exact link I got them from, but here's the Chinese Painting Colour set: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10050... *********************************** some more art haul vids:    • 🌟 DREAM ART HAUL | Charvin watercolours, R...      • watercolour haul 🎨 roman szmal swatch + pa...      • CHOOSING KEEPING 🌸 japanese paints | mini ...   *********************************** 🌷 Art supplies Etchr - The Perfect Sketchbook, Signature Series: http://bit.ly/3UP40D5 Traveler's Brass Paper Clips: https://amzn.to/4ms1kck https://amzn.to/4pwABhd ⭐⭐⭐ some of the links here are affiliate links, which means you will be supporting this channel if you use them, at no extra cost to you! 💌 thank you for watching & happy sketching 🤍 *********************************** 🎋 Video content - Marie's Chinese Painting Colours 🎋 00:00 - unboxing Marie's paints 01:11 - paint swatching 3:35 - rice paper & brushes 5:25 - sketching carnations 7:22 - last swatches & painting 12:08 - dried swatches! *********************************** 🌷 Socials   / annalily.art     / annalily.art   contact me 💌 softandcosy.art@gmail.com *********************************** 🌷 Video info Music courtesy of www.epidemicsound.com Get a 7-day free trial with my link: https://share.epidemicsound.com/ifvr6f camera: https://amzn.to/3VX0EAK tripod: https://amzn.to/3InJZmU *********************************** Sub count: 1109!! wooo #arthaul #artsupplieshaul #artsupplies #paintwithme
