What makes this garden special is not just its size, but the personal touch, creativity, and passion that can be seen throughout the entire property. When Sonal and her family purchased the farmhouse, the land was mostly rough and undeveloped, with only a single palm tree growing on the property. Over time, they transformed the space into a lush green garden filled with around 1,000 plants that they personally manage and care for. The garden features a wide variety of plants, including semi-shade plants, Money Plant, Aglaonema, Croton, Turtle Vine, Purple Heart, Jade Plants, roses, Champa, Hibiscus and Ixora. You will also see creative topiary designs, hanging plants, decorative elements, and beautiful Madhumalti vine arches that create natural entrances around the garden. The farmhouse also includes an impressive vegetable garden where different seasonal vegetables are grown, along with fruit trees such as mango, lemon, guava, sapodilla and chironji. Several mango varieties, including Amrapali, Dashehari, Langra and Chausa, can be seen growing across the property. Sonal also shares her gardening experience, including her approach to soil preparation, the use of cow manure compost, bone meal, propagation from cuttings and seeds, pruning, and maintaining healthy plants.
