On Planets - Droves

"Droves is about futility, the distortion created by feedback loops, and the self-justifying nature of habits. It’s about the lengths that the psyche will go to in order to preserve the precious feeling of agency, and the absurdity of falling into traps not laid by anyone in particular, again and again." - On Planets ▶️ Listen to On Planets' new EP 'To Leave and Come Back' https://bitbird.lnk.to/toleaveandcome... ▶️ Listen to all bitbird releases https://bitbird.lnk.to/releasesid ✦ Follow On Planets   / onplanets     / onplanets     / onplanets     / weareallonplanets   ✦ Join the family ‪@bitbird‬ https://bitbirdofficial.com   / discord     / bitbird     / bitbird     / bitbirdofficial     / bitbird   ✧ Lyrics we come and go, we come and go a tidal wave of flesh and bone we come in droves, we come in droves so every day I stay awake to watch the exodus of somebody elses wicking east, away leaving with no trace but empty houses on their frames all the promises were made and they stay the same and I stay the same this is my way of serial life serial days from serial nights I can honestly say it’s a serious fright that every wave is part of a tide I’m part of a tide at the end of the bay, the end of the line every day it’s right on time flooding the streets and carrying me going out of my mind we come and go, we come and go a tidal wave of flesh and bone we come in droves, we come in droves so every day I stay awake to watch the exodus of somebody elses wicking east away leaving with no trace but empty houses on their frames all the promises were made and they stay the same and I stay the same this is my way of serial life serial days from serial nights I can honestly say it’s a serious fright that every wave is part of a tide we come and go, we come and go a tidal wave of flesh and bone we come in droves, we come in droves ____ Independent record label. create forever 🕊️
