Church of the Apostles | Sunday October 4th Worship Service

Join us for worship as we gather to hear God’s Word, offer our prayers, and grow in faith together. These readings remind us of God’s faithful care for His people, our calling to bear good fruit, and the hope we have through Jesus Christ. They also invite us to examine where we place our trust and whether our lives reflect the grace and calling we have received from God. 📖 Scripture Readings (ESV) • Isaiah 5:1–7 The prophet describes God’s loving care for His people and calls them to account for the fruit their lives have produced. • Psalm 80:(1–6)7–19 A prayer asking God to restore His people, renew them, and turn His face toward them once again. • Philippians 3:14–21 Paul urges believers to press toward the goal in Christ, follow faithful examples, and remember that our true citizenship is in heaven. • Matthew 21:33–44 Jesus tells the parable of the tenants, revealing the rejection of God’s messengers and pointing to Himself as the cornerstone. Together, these readings point us toward the faithfulness of God and the seriousness of our response to His grace. We are called to remain faithful, bear fruit that honors God, and keep our eyes fixed on Christ as we await the fulfillment of His kingdom. As we worship, may we faithfully bear fruit for God, keep our eyes fixed on Christ, and live as citizens of His kingdom with hope and perseverance.
