Surviving Resident Evil 1996 For The First Time (Original Hardware) | PART 2

I’ve spent years playing modern horror games, but I’ve never touched the original 1996 Resident Evil. Tonight on NerdDumb's Retro Replay, we're fixing that. No emulators, no HD remakes—just original PlayStation hardware, physical media, and the game that defined survival horror. Will the pre-rendered backgrounds, infamous voice acting, and classic tank controls still hold up and terrify me in 2026? Watch as I step into the Spencer Mansion completely blind for the very first time. Let me know in the chat: what was your favorite memory from your first playthrough? (No puzzle or jump scare spoilers, please!)
