Vientiane is a capital city less well known to people around the world, this city blew me away and should 100% be part of any itinerary to Laos! Vientiane borders Thailand and is situated on the Mekong river. It's got serene golden temples, unique buddha parks and vibrant night markets waiting to be explored.
