BUSTED! Otis/Standard Manually Operated Traction Elevators @ Fine Arts Building, Chicago, IL

(Filmed on 12/21/18 featuring CHI Elevators, WI Sirens & Elevators, elevatorsoflakecounty, and Ronin). Since Alex Victor, Sam, & Ronin never got a video of the elevators here, we decided to head over to the Fine Arts Building hoping that it would break our streak of getting busted for filming. Unfortunately, it didn't. When we all piled in the elevator, the person who was operating it said, "No pictures allowed." and pointed at me. I wasn't sure whether that meant we weren't allowed to videotape in this building or that he didn't want to be on film, but just to be safe, I decided to just shut off my camera. However, Victor & Sam decided to keep filming no matter what, so shout-out to them for doing that. Then, I got to a point where I became fed up with the fact that we've gotten busted quite a lot tonight, so I just decided to film the trip down regardless of the consequences. Luckily, I happened to get away with filming it. I just don't get it! All the places I've never got busted in for filming I get busted in the next time I revisit them. I mean, if this gentleman didn't want to be on camera, I would've respected that because I just wanted to get another take of this elevator. Besides, these are the only manually-operated elevators in Chicago, so I might as well get as many takes of them as I can.
