Katy vs Morton Ranch Varsity Football 10 08 2026

Here are the key takeaways from the game: • Katy's Flawless Streak Continues: With the blowout victory, the Katy Tigers improved to 7-0 on the season. They remain one of the few elite, undefeated powerhouse teams left in the stacked Texas 6A field. • Offensive Explosion: Katy's offense found the end zone at will, generating a staggering 69 points. The game highlights a continuation of their explosive district form, following a 55-0 shutout against Seven Lakes the previous week. • Defensive Lockout: The Tigers' defense completely smothered the Mavericks' run-heavy offense, allowing only a single score throughout the entire contest. Anchored this season by standout defensive backs like four-star corner David Olotu-Judah and senior Caleb Ritter, Katy continues to look like an impenetrable force heading into late October. • Tough Road Ahead for Morton Ranch: Falling to 2-4 overall, the Mavericks will look to regroup quickly as they prepare to bounce back next Friday on the road against Katy Taylor.
