Hello people, I'm Jogi (Jogii Baaba), and this is 'From Laughs to Silence | Antt Shantt Baatein' - my first recorded 15-minute Hindi/Hinglish stand-up comedy performance, featuring observational comedy, dark humour, absurd stories and jokes about everyday life. In these 15 minutes, I talk about school memories, PT teachers, bullying, childhood, adulthood, flatmates, family, death and several other absolutely unnecessary things. I spent considerable time, effort and money recording and putting this performance together. And honestly, it didn't go exactly as I had imagined. The set started with some great laughs and even applause. But as the performance progressed, not every joke got the reaction I expected. Some jokes got big laughs, some got a few chuckles, and some were met with almost complete silence. I could have kept this recording to myself, but I decided to put it out anyway. Some jokes worked, some didn't. That's part of putting your comedy out there, and I'd rather share the experience than pretend everything went perfectly.
