Walking Through Södermalm | New Developments & Classic Stockholm

Join me for a walk from Stadsgårdshamnen into the more familiar neighborhoods of Södermalm. We start by walking through the tunnel from the harbor and emerge near the newer developments around Barnängen. From there, the walk continues along Tegelviksgatan, through Tvätt-Malins Park and into the greenery of Vitabergsparken. Finally, we make our way down towards Skånegatan, with dark clouds gathering above us and the rain getting closer. I took cover at the right minutes and was joined by soaking wet family members for dinner. A walk that moves from Stockholm's industrial waterfront and newer developments into the leafy parks, streets and everyday life of Södermalm.
