Spain Closing Exhibition | Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2026

The Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC)—formerly called the World Pyro Olympics (WPO)—is an annual fireworks showdown featuring top pyrotechnic teams from around the world, held in the Philippines. In its current format, the event spans five to six weeks, taking place every Saturday night at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay. Each evening features two competing countries, with the final participant performing on the closing night. While the host country does not compete, it stages special fireworks exhibitions on both the opening and closing nights. Awards such as the People’s Choice are presented after the displays, and the event concludes with the announcement of the overall winners. Pyrotex Fireworks Ltd. from the United Kingdom was crowned the Champion of the 2026 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) at SM Mall of Asia, according to Facebook and Manila Times. The competition concluded on April 11, 2026, with Polaris Fireworks (China) as 1st Runner-Up and Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerk (Germany) as 2nd Runner-Up. The final night included performances by Spain's Hermanos Caballer and a special closing exhibition by Platinum Fireworks Inc. of the Philippines.
