Can God still use someone like me? Yes. Your failures, regrets, and imperfect past do not automatically disqualify you from being used by God. But when you're the one carrying the mistakes, that can be much harder to believe. Maybe there are things you've done that you still think about years later. Words you wish you could take back. Choices you would make differently. Parts of your story that leave you wondering whether God would rather use someone stronger, cleaner, more faithful, or more deserving. “A Billion Broken Halos” is an original Christian song about that struggle — feeling unworthy of God because of your past, and discovering that His grace is greater than your shame. The Bible is filled with people God used despite their weakness and failure. Peter sank beneath the water, yet Jesus raised him up and called him forward. Moses was afraid when God called him, yet God still chose him. Paul once persecuted followers of Jesus, yet his past did not prevent God from transforming his life and using him to proclaim the faith he once opposed. Their stories remind us of something we can easily forget when we're looking at our own failures: God has never needed a perfect past before He can begin a new chapter. That doesn't mean our mistakes don't matter. Grace isn't pretending the past never happened. Grace means the past doesn't have to have the final word. God can redeem what we thought had ruined us. He can work through weakness. He can meet us in regret. And the parts of our story we would rather hide can become part of the testimony of what His mercy has done. Maybe you've been asking: Can God forgive what I've done? Am I too broken for God? Can God still use me after I've failed? Is there still a purpose for my life? “A Billion Broken Halos” was written for that place. You don't need spotless hands. You don't need a flawless history. You don't need to pretend you've never fallen. You can come to God as you are and surrender the life you have — scars, failures, regrets and all — into His hands. Because your worst moment doesn't have to become your final identity. Not perfect. Still chosen. Still standing. Still Yours. If this original Christian song speaks to something you've carried, share it with someone who may also need to remember that failure does not have to be the end of their story. • Written and Performed by: Crown & Nail Records 🔔 Subscribe for more original Christian music from Crown & Nail Records. 🙌 ABOUT CROWN & NAIL RECORDS Crown & Nail Records creates original Christian music rooted in faith, truth, grace and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
