The Federal Territory Mosque (locally known as Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan) is one of Kuala Lumpur's largest and most visually spectacular places of worship. Sprawling across a five-hectare site in the Segambut district, this magnificent "mosque in a garden" seamlessly blends Ottoman Turkish and traditional Malay architectural styles. Heavily inspired by Istanbul’s iconic Blue Mosque, the complex features 22 striking turquoise domes, two soaring minarets, and can accommodate up to 17,000 worshippers at a time.
