Everything went WRONG trying to reach this remote Kimberley camp spot!

Welcome back to Nick & Lindall’s Lap Series! In East Kimberley Part 2, we say goodbye to Lake Argyle and make our way through Kununurra and across the iconic Ivanhoe Crossing, heading out to camp along the Lower Ord River with Nick’s parents, Ged and Jane, in their Mercedes-Benz ML 350 CDI.. Well… that was the plan anyway! What should’ve been a fairly straightforward trip into camp quickly turned into one problem after another for the Mercedes! First, we discovered some tyre damage. Then the ML 350 CDI started overheating, suffered a bit of damage to the wheel arch and, to top it all off… GOT BOGGED! For a while there, we genuinely weren’t sure if Ged and Jane were going to make it into camp at all! Or make it home.. After pushing the Mercedes to its limits, they eventually made it through, and we settled in for a few nights camping along the beautiful Lower Ord River. After all the chaos getting there, the next few days were exactly what we needed. Incredible food, workouts at camp, plenty of laughs and some quality family time in another amazing part of the East Kimberley. Sometimes it’s the adventures that don’t quite go to plan that make the best memories! The drama doesn't end there however, we end up having issues in Kununurra on Ged's birthday with the tinny not starting and transmission problems on their ML... Thanks so much for watching and coming along for the ride!
