Spiritbox Just Won’t Quit! | Soft Spine Reaction

Spiritbox - Soft Spine SPIRITBOX JUST DOES NOT MISS!!! 😭🔥 I swear, every single time I think I have even the slightest idea of what to expect from this band, they come along and completely throw me for a loop AGAIN! 😂 This time we're checking out “Soft Spine” and OH MY GOD… WHAT WAS THAT?! Right from the beginning this song immediately reminded me of my very first Spiritbox reaction to “Holy Roller.” That insane heaviness, Courtney's absolutely VICIOUS screams and the pure aggression of the instrumental had me completely locked in! And the funniest part is, unlike when I first heard “Holy Roller,” I KNOW what Courtney is capable of now… BUT SOMEHOW I STILL WASN'T PREPARED! 😂 What I absolutely LOVE about Spiritbox is how incredibly versatile they are. Their sound is so broad that there's genuinely no way of knowing what direction the next song is going to take. And even when they revisit that heavier side, they still manage to make it feel fresh and exciting! The transitions throughout this song were PERFECT! Every change had so much character and flair to it, and the way they managed to make everything flow together while keeping that relentless aggression was just incredible. But what really made this song stand out to me was how well the music complemented the message behind it. The aggression wasn't just there for the sake of being heavy. It felt like every scream, every riff and every explosive moment was helping drive home the meaning of the lyrics. THAT is something I absolutely love when a band gets right! Spiritbox has quickly become one of my favorite bands to discover through this channel, and performances like this are exactly why. The musicianship, the creativity, Courtney's ridiculous vocal ability… EVERYTHING! I seriously cannot wait to see what they throw at me next because at this point I don't think there's anything this band CAN'T do! 😂🔥 SPIRITBOX FANS, HOW DOES “SOFT SPINE” RANK FOR YOU?! 👀 And what song do I NEED to hear next?!
