In this episode of Finding Truth in a Confused World, Pastor Zach explains dispensational premillennialism, the end-times view most American churches already assume. He shows what it adds to historic premillennialism: a rapture of the church before a seven-year tribulation, and a parenthesis between Daniel’s sixty-ninth week and his seventieth. The case is read from 1 Thessalonians 4, Daniel 9, and Romans 11, including the land promises and the claim that God is not finished with Israel. He then names the pressure points: a system only about two hundred years old, a classic tendency to postpone the Beatitudes until the kingdom, and a two-thousand-year gap in Daniel 9 that the text never announces. Left Behind, date-setting, and headline prophecy are treated as noise around the system, not the system itself. One correction: the land grant cited in the video is Genesis 15:18, not Genesis 15:8. 0:00 What dispensationalism adds to premillennialism 2:14 Two distinctives: Israel and the church, and the seven years 5:48 Caught up before the wrath 9:50 Daniel’s remaining week and the church as a parenthesis 17:02 God is not finished with Israel 20:16 A young system, a postponed kingdom, and the gap 29:12 Why pastors avoid Revelation
